This is Emme Packer recording Lay Your Head On Down live in the studio. After beginning her album, Emme began health problems. Things are now serious enough that she has started a fund to help her get the medical treatment she needs and finish her album as well. Well, it has been a while! We were working on a new website which after much time spent has been abandoned, so for now we are sticking with what we have. In our long absence we have worked with Neon Trees, Mindy Gledhill, Polytype, Book On Tape Worm, Parlor Hawk, The Arcadians, Melinda Hix, Chris Merritt, Kaskade and Fictionist who were in working on their Atlantic Records debut. Click above and check out the first single from Luna Lune’s record ‘Walk With Me.’ It’s a great album that we were glad to be a part of. Happy New Year!

excuse the lack of updates, things have been so busy, just havent found time. in february, after doing some rearranging and opening up the new lounge, the studio hosted a new band made up of tom luce, charlie colin, steve bowman, and producer sean genockey.

today the moth and the flame are in the studio recording a bonus track to go along with their upcoming release which was recorded here earlier this year.

We spent the last few weeks with Fictionist recording a new EP to be released soon. Now we are spending days recording vocals and mixing for Hilary Weeks. Some of these sessions will be streaming live, so be sure to check out the live stream link over in the navigation bar. Also, mark your calendars, The Lower Lights will be back in the studio August 25-27 and 29th. All of the sessions will be streamed and it should be a good show so tune in.

after many years away, and after much debate and negotiation, june audio recording studios is officially back. things around the studio won’t be changing much, but from now on, we have an official name! again.
