Now that the concrete is ready, framing has begun in earnest. Real snow fell today, so the sooner they get this roof on the better.

More ledger board up as well as bottom plates for the hallway between studios and the wall between the back of control room 2 and the instrument storage room.

Raising the first wall - west side of studio 1 and the booths. Pretty sure this method the framers are using wouldn’t be OSHA approved, it can be pretty sketchy at times, but its quite entertaining to watch.
First wall of the hallway, the trusses will rest and “handshake” on the hallway walls. Looking north toward the back of the house, studio 1 on the left, studio 2 on the right.
The doorway on the left side of the frame will be the entrance to studio 1 from the hallway.
Landscapers also showed up this week and started putting in sprinkler lines as well as working on the fire pit out front. Not sure if those guys are planning to be back tomorrow now that there are a few inches of snow on the ground, but I hope so.
The enormous transformer that the city requires also arrived. I have no idea what kind of bushes could ever hide this hideous thing but we will do our best.
