Some progress was made this week, but we are essentially in a holding pattern as we wait for the crew from Brett Acoustics to arrive.

The concrete floors in the common areas of the studio were polished this week.

My friend Nick, who can basically build anything, came by to install some custom drum racks he designed and built.
The steel support bars were wrapped in neoprene to protect the drums.
We brought a floor tom and a snare in to try out the racks. It’s looking like Nick will build a 3rd unit for smaller toms, so that should be installed in a couple weeks.
